May 03 - Jun 21
1:00pm - 4:00pm Central Time
Instructor: Susan Melinda Morée
Producers are looking for 10-minute plays, and this class will equip you with the tools to write one. The 10-minute play is a calling card; it serves as an introduction of you as a writer and to your larger body of work. Even if you've never written a play before, the 10-minute play is a fun way to dive into theatre and wrap your hands around the basics of playwriting. So whether you want to finish a draft, expand your skills or just try something brand new, this class will give you an opportunity to find your voice with the 10-minute play.
Classes will be held via Zoom. Instructors will send out Zoom invites one day before class begins. We encourage students to setup a Zoom account for themselves before class if they have not already to ensure when class begins you are able to jump straight into the art!
